This is what I sent to Carlye for her big milestone birthday on January 5th. At least I remembered to send a gift this year. A touch of elegance and gourmet style for my favorite chic Brooklynite sister-in-law. Hope its not too "froo-froo" for you and that you and Senor Sam (guess that's my newest nickname for him) enjoy both making and eating the "birthday" cakes together. Wish we could be there to drink a toast to you too.

Aww Brenda, did you have to go and post my age?! I was hoping to remain 29 again this year or possibly revisit 28! Thank you for the chocolatey goodness, looking forward to making the cakes!!
Every birthday is a great excuse for celebrating. It's part of my ONLY 2007 resolution--pamper yourself and allow others to also pamper you.
